Finnovationz's Vision: Spread Financial Awareness & Build Businesses
“Our vision is an India where every individual is financially aware. We dream of the day when everyone will be able to plan out their own finances, take investment decisions on their own and be otherwise financially independent” - Prasad Lendwe.
You know what they say, geniuses like Einstein, Beethoven, Tesla had one thing in common, and so did tiny Prasad, It was curiosity.
Curiosity leads us to mysterious places. For some it is bothersome and for others, it is a doorway to much greater things in life.
As a toddler, Prasad saw his grandfather work at a tiny shop, selling tea, snacks and much more to its customers. Often at times, it used to be crowded, and at different hours, not so much. He started noticing what was happening, how his grandfather did business, how he spoke, how the supply and demand chain flowed, and much more.
Prasad became really curious and interested in finance, economics, business, the stock market, and much more, whilst he was growing up. As a teenager, he really fancied reading the economic times which came once a week. It was like a window for him through which he could look at what was happening outside of his shell.
Back in the day, before he pursued engineering, he had a hobby that most children don’t at all consider these days. He loved indulging himself in books for hours and hours together, be it geography or history, he just was so curious about everything that he read it all, whatever books he could grab his hands on. He also loved playing cricket. Now that’s something most of us can relate to! After grade 10, he randomly decided to opt for engineering. Being in that field made him realise his lack of interest in it and that is also when things started to change for good.
He was hardly 18 when he invested for the first time in stocks and also started on his quest of entering and exploring the world of finance and the share market. He used to read the economic times and started indulging himself with things which he didn’t know as he was just so curiously passionate about knowing what caught his eye in that newspaper.
Prasad was a studious child in school, but things weren’t the same in college. He started taking risks, such as changing fields, changing his interests, working on other projects which were not related to his college or engineering even. He started with start-ups and entrepreneurship and failed the very first time and even the second time too.
He managed to make it to the top in spite of all the hardships and failures that he endured on the way. Consistency and hard work are what got him through, teaching him nothing comes easy. After his first few failed start-ups, he did not give up. People laughed at him but he never took it to heart.
This man was and is passionately curious and a risk-taker; now that's what an ideal entrepreneur is like! That is exactly why he also got up each time that he fell, and never gave up no matter what.
Many people today don't have enough patience for good things or want to go the extra mile to really stand out from the crowd. We’re lazy, want things in our hands and easy, but that is not how it really works.
You have to work hard, you have to fail and learn from your experiences if you want to do something extraordinary. Prasad was just an ordinary boy with curiosity, passion and a head full of dreams. All he did was give in his everything to get what he has today.
